Overview

I designed and built the website for Toni Cars, a Terrassa-based business that buys broken-down, crashed or second-hand cars —including ones that no longer start— and picks them up with its own tow truck across the province of Barcelona.

The whole project revolves around one idea: selling your car should be as easy as describing its condition. The site explains the process in three steps, shows the team and its tow truck in real photos and guides every visitor towards a single action: requesting a valuation, with a quick path for broken-down or scrap cars and a more complete one for cars in good shape.

On top of that, each of the 14 towns they cover has its own page, and the whole site is available in Spanish and Catalan.

The challenge

Turn visits into valuation requests: anyone, on their phone and in a couple of minutes, should be able to describe their car, and the business should receive everything it needs to call back with an offer.

How I built it

Three angles I care about in every project: how it looks, how it works and how it is built underneath.

Design

Direct and trustworthy

A clear, distraction-free interface with real day-to-day photos, the process explained in three steps and the phone number and WhatsApp always in sight. Every screen points to the same thing: requesting a valuation.

  • Designed mobile-first
  • Two paths depending on the car's condition
  • Light and dark mode

Quality

Fast, with no surprises

Lightweight pages that load instantly even on a weak signal. The request is filled in step by step, checks the data as you type and remembers your progress: if the tab is closed by accident, nothing is lost.

  • Instant loading
  • Step-by-step form that saves progress
  • Spanish and Catalan across the whole site

Architecture

Easy to maintain

A static site, with no servers or databases to look after. The copy for each language, the towns and the business details live apart from the design: adding an area or changing opening hours means editing a value, not rebuilding a page.

  • Built with Astro and Tailwind CSS
  • Content kept apart from design
  • One page per town generated from data

Outcome

The site is live and in use: every request reaches the team with what it needs to value the car and call back with an offer.
